Individual & Family Therapy
Treatment progresses with the idea that we all have within us, the capacity for healing and self-actualization. Individual therapeutic work will focus on rediscovering or recreating "who you are" - to which we each have our own meaning. Treatment goals are individualized but it is my hope that our time together will provide you the opportunity for growth & healing and building awareness & emotional tolerance.
My practice integrates various treatment theories to include behaviorism & social learning, psychodynamic, developmental and humanistic work. If it meets your needs we will integrate mindfulness and creative expression into our work together.
Therapeutic family and couples work will begin with analysis of the current system and may draw upon attachment and emotion-focused therapy.
Low-cost clinical supervision is provided for those entry level social workers needing hours towards licensure. See the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work page for more information.
